THE BABYZITHERS

This new avant-jazz-rock trio out of vienna is trying to go new old roads:
Combining improvised eclectronic power rock with minimal but strong lyrics,
only using keywords out of commercials, news headlines and daily live.
The classical trained bassoon player christof dienz entered the electonic
zither as a soloist 3 years ago and released the album DIENZ ZITHERED
with remixes and combinations with different musicians and genres (mt
floyd, dj dsl, rupert huber, hubl greiner, etc) and played live solo and
duo concerts all over the place together with zeena parkins, tony maimone,
asian dub foundation etc.
Bass-Player ANDI HALLER is know from his early years at HP ZINKER, later
on
with his band calles THE LONESOME ANDI HALLER BAND.
Drummer HERBERT PIRKER is engaged in several young viennese jazz projects and is one of the greatest drum talents around.
