CHRISTOF DIENZ
Composer, bassoon and zither player
The album DIENZ ZITHERED, wich was released in germany, austria and
switzerland in november 2005, has become an international secret tip,
no,
more then that, it became an success.
The album was tagged with the PASTICCIO AWARD by the austrian cultural radio station Oe1, a tune got picked for the radio fm4 sound selection and in january 2006 the editorial stuff of german music magazin SPEX put the album in the top 10 of their monthly charts.

Parallel to the album release CHRISTOF DIENZ is doing
a lot of live shows -
solo or with MT FLOYD, CHRISTIAN MARTINEK and HANNES STROBL, tours
with the jazzy XY BAND, created with the zither the score for the austrian
movie SPIELE LEBEN (now in austrian cinemas nationwide) and performs
live in a theatre piece in munich, germany.
